Crafted by artisan members of our collective in Northern Peru, each of these kuripes are individually shaped from natural white serpentine, also known as soapstone, a material admired for its smooth texture, elegant appearance, and naturally cool feel. Subtle variations in color and natural veining ensure every piece is uniquely its own.

Available Carvings

Condor - A symbol of wisdom, elevated perspective, and the bridge between the earthly and higher realms.
Jaguar - A symbol of courage, grounded strength, and confident movement through life's journey.

Each kuripe is carefully carved and polished by hand, preserving the natural beauty of the stone while honoring the traditions that continue to inspire these ceremonial tools.

Care

To maintain your kuripe, gently clear the airway before and after each use by blowing through the channel away from your face. As a natural stone, serpentine should be handled with care and protected from drops or impacts against hard surfaces. For added protection during travel or storage, we recommend keeping it in one of our handcrafted zippered pouches.
