Each Pelican Crystal Kuripe is handcrafted by artisans within our collective in Northern Peru. Every piece is individually finished with natural resin and carefully selected gemstones, giving each applicator its own distinct character while maintaining a cohesive artistic style.

Every Pelican Crystal Kuripe features a chrysocolla gemstone, paired with one of the following natural stone accents:

• Moonstone - Traditionally associated with intuition, inner reflection, and the gentle rhythms of nature.
  
• Amethyst - Appreciated for its rich violet hues and often associated with clarity, contemplation, and spiritual awareness.
  
• Tiger's Eye - Recognized for its warm golden bands and traditionally associated with confidence, grounding, and focused intention.
  

The pelican bone used for these kuripes is responsibly sourced as a by-product of the human food industry, allowing these natural materials to be respectfully repurposed through traditional craftsmanship. Because each piece is handcrafted from natural bone, resin, and stone, subtle variations in color, carving, and gemstone appearance are part of the uniqueness of every applicator.

Care

Pelican bone is naturally more delicate than hardwood. We recommend storing your kuripe in a protective pouch and avoiding unnecessary pressure during travel or storage to help preserve its craftsmanship for years of ceremonial use.
