Handcrafted by artisan members of our collective in Northern Peru, each Kuri-Tepi Duo reflects the relationship between personal practice and shared ceremony.

One side is carved from Palo Santo, a wood long valued throughout South America for its warm aroma and traditional use in cleansing rituals. The opposite side is shaped from Palo Sangre, admired for its rich reddish tones and natural durability. Together, these complementary woods represent two distinct qualities brought into balance within a single design.

The central joint is finished with a chrysocolla stone set into the wood and accented by a small section of Ayahuasca vine, honoring one of the Amazon's most recognized ceremonial plants. These elements are incorporated as a tribute to the traditions that have inspired the piece and the enduring relationship between people, plants, and practice.

Because every Kuri-Tepi Duo is individually assembled using natural materials, slight variations in wood grain, color, stone, and vine are part of what makes each piece unique.

Care

To help preserve your Kuri-Tepi Duo, gently clear both air channels before and after each use by blowing through them away from your face. Store the applicator in a dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture. To help protect the chrysocolla stone and natural vine accent, avoid dropping or striking the piece against hard surfaces. For added protection during travel or storage, we recommend keeping it in one of our handcrafted zippered pouches.
