Kuripes simples
Our kuripes are created inside our Indigenous collectives across Peru, shaped with the same ancestral knowledge that guides our communities’ relationship with nature, art, and intention. Each piece is handmade using reclaimed natural materials : woods, stones, seeds, bone, by-products from local food practices, and clay resins; ensuring that nothing is taken beyond what the Earth already provides.
Kuripes are traditionally used one nostril at a time, following a rhythm carried through generations:
-
The first nostril clears what no longer serves: a symbolic release, letting go of stagnant energy or old patterns.
-
The second nostril invites renewal: a gentle opening to what is essential, desired, and aligned with one’s highest intention.
Our artisans craft each kuripe to support this cyclical movement of release and rebirth.
