Crafted by artisan members of our collective in Northern Peru, each Serpent Tepi is individually carved and available in four natural wood varieties.

Palo Sangre carries rich red tones and a warm, expressive grain.

Rosewood offers deeper reddish-purple coloring with a dense, polished finish.

Palo Santo has a naturally lighter golden tone and a distinct aromatic character.

Chonta wood is known for its dark color, strength, and closely patterned grain.

The serpent form is shaped directly into the body of the applicator, giving the tepi its recognizable character without compromising its practical function. Each piece includes a carrying bag selected by our team to complement the natural color of the wood; bag colors and patterns will vary.

Because every tepi is individually handcrafted from natural wood, variations in grain, tone, carving, and overall form are expected.

Care

Gently clear the airway before and after each use by blowing through the channel away from your face. Store your tepi in a dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. Wipe the exterior with a clean, dry cloth and avoid soaking or using chemical cleaners. Keep it in the included carrying bag during travel or storage to help protect the carved wood.
