Hapé JUREMA Rapé [Dream Facilitator, Throat Chakra Cleanse, Spicy After-Taste-MEDIUM-MILD]

This rappeh* [hapé] comes from the indigenous Xucuru Kariri ethnic group of Brazil. Jurema has psychoactive properties, which leads to visionary states similar to that of ayahuasca. The preparation is made from the extraction of the bark of mimosa tenuiflora, mimosa hostilis, also known as jurema preta, calumbi, cabrera, jurema, black jurema, and binho de jurema, is a perennial tree or shrub native to the northeastern region of Brazil.

While jurema has a medium-strength, it is an amazing medicine to work on the throat. The aftertaste is pleasant and somewhat spicy (cinnamon and mimosa). Jurema in the form of rappeh does not express its psychoactive effects. However, it serves as a gateway into more profound circles, such as ayahuasca and/or jurema ceremonies. The power of this medicine is to present the spirit of mother jurema, which manifests a deeper connection with divinity. Jurema as a rappeh blend is highly ideal for sleeping: it serves as a great facilitator for lucid dreams.

All of our snuff medicine is made with intentional prayers and in small batches. Most of all, a labor of love. Our containers are all the same sizes offered in small, medium and large of glass, airtight bottles. The small containers weigh between 2.3 to 3 grams* (a pea size of 15 to 20 servings). The medium weighs about a quarter of an ounce, between 7.5 to 8 grams, and the large weighs about a half of an ounce, between 13.5 to 15 grams*. 

* Each bottle is filled at the same level. The variance in weight is due to the different densities within each medicine as each ingredient influences the weight differently.
