Crafted by artisan members of our collective in Northern Peru, each Magic Long Kuripe is individually assembled using carefully selected natural materials.

The handle is carved from Palo Sangre (Redwood) and crowned with a Tiger's Eye gemstone, traditionally associated with protection, strength, and confidence. Much of the body is adorned with hand-applied Shipibo-inspired beadwork incorporating the sacred geometric patterns of the Shipibo-Conibo people of the Peruvian Amazon. The base is finished with either an Amethyst, traditionally associated with the crown chakra, or a Citrine gemstone, often associated with abundance. A variety of color combinations are available, making each piece uniquely expressive.

Care

To help preserve the natural Palo Sangre wood, gently clear the airway before and after each use by blowing through the channel away from your face. Store your kuripe in a dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. Take care to protect the beadwork, wrapped artwork, and natural gemstones from impacts. For added protection during travel or storage, we recommend keeping it in one of our handcrafted zippered pouches.
