Indigenous Tepi | Hapé Serving Applicator
$85.00

The Indigenous Tepi is a handcrafted Hapé serving applicator with a vibrant presence rooted in Amazonian beadwork traditions. Its long blackwood form supports smooth, directed airflow, while the colorful seed-bead patterns bring movement, artistry, and a distinct character to shared practice.

More Info

Crafted by artisan members of our collective in Northern Peru, each Indigenous Tepi is individually shaped from Amazonian blackwood and finished by hand.

The body is wrapped with colorful Shipibo mostacilla seed-bead patterns, bringing rhythm, movement, and detailed artistry to each piece. Feather accents add texture and natural variation, while chrysocolla stones are traditionally associated with harmony, communication, and calm presence. Natural resin and pigment secure and finish the decorative elements.

Because the wood, beadwork, feathers, stones, and painted resin are all individually selected and assembled, variations in color, pattern, grain, and overall finish are expected, making every tepi distinct.

Care

Gently clear the airway before and after each use by blowing through the channel away from your face. Store your tepi in a dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. Protect the beadwork and stone accents from impacts, abrasion, and snagging. For travel or storage, keep it in a protective pouch.
