The Double Snake Tepi is a handcrafted Hapé serving applicator created for simultaneous delivery through both nostrils. Two carved serpents meet within its form, carrying the symbolism of movement, transformation, and renewal. Its carefully balanced dual airways provide a smooth, even flow, supporting a focused and deeply shared moment of practice

Crafted by artisan members of our collective in Northern Peru, each Double Snake Tepi is individually shaped, carved, and finished by hand.

A natural chrysocolla accent is set into the piece and is traditionally associated with harmony, communication, and calm presence.

The tepi is available in three wood variants:

Palo Sangre carries warm red tones and a naturally expressive grain.

Chonta Wood is known for its strength, dark coloring, and closely patterned grain.

Black Wood offers a deep, grounding tone with a dense and durable finish.

Because each tepi is made from natural wood and stone, variations in grain, color, carving, and chrysocolla pattern are expected, making every piece distinct.

Care

Gently clear both airways before and after each use by blowing through the channels away from your face. Store your tepi in a dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. Wipe the exterior with a clean, dry cloth and avoid soaking or using chemical cleaners. Protect the carved serpent details and chrysocolla accent from impacts. For travel or storage, keep it in a protective pouch.
