This tepi is unique for its double sided application. Unlike most tepis, this tepi has two nostril applicators which allows for the rappeh to be blown through both nostrils simultaneously. While the chrysocolla gem invokes harmony, the snake design is symbolic of the spirit of the cosmic serpent, shown in ayahuasca visions. This double tepi comes in three varieties of sacred Amazonian wood: rosewood (palo rosa), holy wood (palo santo), and chonta wood.
