Curved Shipibo Tepi | Ceremonial Hapé Applicator
$125.00

Our Shipibo Curved Tepi is a handmade ceremonial Hapé applicator designed for comfortable, balanced application. Crafted by Shipibo artisans within our collective in Northern Peru, each piece is individually carved from select Amazonian hardwoods and finished with either traditional Shipibo kené beadwork or icaro-inspired textile designs, celebrating generations of Indigenous artistry.

More Info

Handcrafted by Shipibo artisans within our collective in Northern Peru, each curved tepi reflects generations of traditional woodworking and careful hand finishing.

Carefully selected Amazonian hardwoods are chosen for their durability, distinctive grain, and balanced feel in the hand. The gently curved profile is designed to encourage a comfortable grip and smooth, controlled airflow for both personal and shared Hapé practice.

Available Collections

  • Beaded Collection – Features traditional Shipibo-inspired kené beadwork and is available in Chonta, Palo Santo, Palo Sangre, and Rosewood.
  • Textile Collection – Finished with hand-applied icaro-inspired textile designs and available in Chonta and Palo Santo.

Because every tepi is made with natural materials, variations in wood grain, color, carving, beadwork, and textile patterns are to be expected, making each piece a unique expression of its maker's craftsmanship.

Care

To preserve the beauty of the wood and artisan finishes, avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. When not in use, store your tepi in a protective pouch or dedicated carrying case to help safeguard it during travel and everyday use.
