In this subtle beauty, we offer a half size of our beloved Nativo bracelet which is created with unique and contemporary designs from tiny and rare Japanese Miyuki glass beads by the very talented members of the T’zutujil tribe in Guatemala. These minuscule beads are very time consuming to put together, comfortable to wear, and move with the body as a second skin.
Our new and creative approach to the beadwork was well received by our artists and artisans in our collective. We therefore boosted our imagination with those, who were willing to step out of their widely appreciated traditional bead work patterns.
Our intention is to give the wearer a feeling of being themselves and presenting their color preference in a form of self adornment. We understand the desire for more contemporary styles that can be worn with pride without any cultural or traditional constraints. The "Nativo" is an ironic name we chose, otherwise it is no where to be close to a "native" in terms of symbolism yet entirely designed by us with the concept that anyone can wear it regardless of age or cultural background, and forgoing any symbology.
We have astonishingly observed this model being adored by all types, all ages and all genders of our already super diverse communities. With a sturdy cord sliding clasp, you can wear this as a bracelet or armband with secure placement and impeccable fit.
