Maraca Soná
This beautiful rattle is handmade by our collective in Peru. You will enjoy the crisp jungle sound bringing transcendence to your ceremony and space. The handle is beaded in colorful Shipibo patterns giving another dimension in the sensation of your grasp. The rattle is created with black beads and Amazonian seeds and shells. Depending on your selection, your rattle will have either a quartz point to aide in clearing spiritual and emotional space or a distinct frequencies of these dry shells rattling.
In the variant that is entirely our own design, we have created a dual side shaker & rattle together, which turned out to be a brand new instrument while one side functions as a rattle described above we made the other side to be the shaker. It creates a harmonized dual sound. One thing we have kept in mind in this creation is that you could either have the both sounds mixing up if handled from the center. If the instrument held on either of extreme side, it will mute the sound on that side so allowing you to enjoy either just rattle sound or just shaker or both if held from the center.
Each Maraca comes with a unique pouch handwoven by our Quechua women's collective artists. *The pouch you receive may not be the same color and pattern as the images above*. We here at Collective Journey Art invite you to trust in our selection of color and pattern best suited for your maraca or rattle depending on our available inventory at the time of your order.
