Made by the Puyanawa people of Acre in the Brazilian Amazon, Puyanawa Hapé is prepared by Chief Samuel Rakekay Puyanawa of Mâncio Lima, Acre, Brazil. He is listed as 45 years old with 30 years of experience, carrying decades of knowledge within this traditional preparation.

The Puyanawa endured displacement, forced labor, missionary control, and cultural suppression during the rubber extraction era. Following the demarcation of their territory, the community began a determined process of restoring its ancestral language, strengthening cultural practices, and renewing the knowledge that had survived among its people.

Tsunu ash: A respected Amazonian tree ash traditionally associated with clarity, balance, grounding, and energetic purification.

Other Amazonian forest plants: A closely held combination of additional plants whose identities remain part of the Puyanawa makers’ traditional preparation.

Traditional Forest Base Leaf: Forms the grounding foundation of the preparation.

Puyanawa Hapé is ideal for mental clarity, focused intention, spiritual concentration, and inner balance. Its qualities are grounding yet clarifying, supporting a steady state of awareness during meditation, prayer, chanting, or ceremonial practice.

It supports a return to centered awareness while encouraging a balanced relationship between the mind, body, and spirit.
