What Is the Difference?
A proper applicator is essential for the safe and intentional use of Hapé.
The Kuripe, made for self-application, and the Tepi, used to serve another, are traditional tools designed to deliver the medicine with precision, respect, and proper alignment.
Kuripe: Self-application tool used for personal practice.
Tepi: Serving applicator traditionally used to offer medicine to another person.
Every applicator in this collection is handcrafted using natural materials such as bamboo, seeds, woods, bone, stones, textiles, natural feathers and beadwork. These tools are created with care, lineage understanding, and ceremonial intention through our artisan collectives in Peru.
