Returns & Refunds Policy — Collective Journey Art

Our Approach
At Collective Journey Art, each order is part of a conscious exchange.
We encourage all purchases to be made with clarity and intention, as many of our items are personal, ceremonial, or one-of-a-kind.
Return Eligibility
We accept returns under the following conditions:
- Requests must be made within 30 days of delivery
- Items must be unused, unworn, with original tags and packaging
- Proof of purchase is required
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:
- The item arrived damaged
- The wrong item was received
A 20% restocking fee applies to all approved returns (excluding damaged or incorrect items).
Important
We do not operate on an open return system.
Returns are reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis.
Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
How to Start a Return

with:
- Order number
- Reason for return
- Photos if applicable
If approved, we will provide:
- Return instructions
- Shipping guidance

Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order upon arrival.
If there is an issue, contact us within 5 business days and include:
- Description of the issue
- Photos of the item and packing slip (with our handwritten note visible)
- Order number
We will review and resolve accordingly.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Opened Hapé-Rapé medicine bottles
- Used kuripes or tepis
- Personal care items
- Custom or personalized items
- Hazardous materials
- Gift cards
- Sale items
- Final sale collections
If you are unsure, reach out before purchasing.
Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges.
If a return is approved:

The item must be returned first

European Union — 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
For orders shipped to the EU:
You have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, in accordance with EU law.
Items must be:

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected:
- You will be notified of approval or denial
- If approved, refunds are issued within 10 business days
Please note:
- Shipping costs, duties, and taxes are non-refundable
- Banks may take additional time to process
If 15 business days have passed after approval, contact us.
