This model is handcrafted by our collective in Peru from recycled black wood of the Amazon rainforest a sustainable material repurposed from larger household projects. The Spirit of Both Directions – Swing Shaker embodies balance and continuity through its dual-ended design. Each end is finished with a leather shaker connected by smooth joints adorned with chrysocolla gemstones, moved below to anchor harmony and clarity at the core of the piece.

The feathers are sourced from Guacamayo species of domestic birds native to Central and South America, chosen for their natural color and movement. Every detail is considered, from the sustainable wood and gemstone placement to the sound’s pure, balanced tone, making this instrument a sophisticated expression of ceremonial art and craftsmanship.
