In this variance of the choker and headpiece we went ahead and actually intended to make a "Crown Piece". We made color pallets to fit this idea while it still remains as a perfect choker with a pendant.
Our Pyramid of Third Eye pendants are made in unique patterns and colors as befitting each one's personal expressions. The sturdy waxed cord and sliding adjustable clasp allows one to adorn our creation crowned upon their head to invoke the royalty of personal divinity. Our intention with the adjustable clasp is for flexibility of placement to either wear as a crown at a festival or around neck if feeling more subtle while expressing the sophistication of this exclusive and beautiful work of art.
Using Japanese made Miyuki beads, which are rare and more difficult to work with than the more common Check beads has given this wearable work of art a pleasantly flexible alternative to adorning beaded jewelry. These beads are made of glass. So it is strong that one could wear at all times in water or heat/cold providing extreme durability.
To offer some Symbolic Insight of Our Triangle Pendant, these inspiring and unique pendants are designed by Su-Ata with the intention of representing Heart, Mind and Soul. Each triangle holds a third eye point at the top and when we stitch the three together, it makes a pyramid of the triple third eyes resting in the center-top. This is the universal meaning or let's put it out as an intention of this pendant.
This representation is witnessed in practice around the world as the "wholly trinity" in many different forms from Egytian and Mayan pyramids to the Nordic tribal trinity symbology and literally everywhere in between. In this symbology, we have three pillars to simply be in charge of using our hands, our tongue and our spine as our ultimate tools to manifest our intentions while maintaining the connection to grace and divinity with these components of the human body.
Touching on the additional symbolism represented in the pendant we see familiar Turkic tribal patterns often woven into "kilims" (unique flat weave textiles used as floor or wall coverings). "Hands on hip" represents motherhood and feminine authority often referred to as being in charge of the family home. "Ram horns" represent heroism and masculine strength. These are intentionally woven intertwined by pre-marriage young women showing a desire or dreams to form a strong seed family. We often refer and use the terms Peace, Love & Compassion but how do we create these essences and from which part of our existence?
LOVE <--> HEART-FULLNESS
COMPASSION <--> MIND-FULLNESS
PEACE <--> SOUL-FULLNESS
On the other hand Su-Ata's initial idea of the design was sparked from a healing necklace or prayer necklace originally called "Muska" in his tribal lineage.
'Muska' as a prayer necklace has a long practice among Tengri and shamanic groups of North Asian Tribes. The term "shaman" was the actual name of the belief system or set of practices of nomadic tribes embracing and living around the cycles. This is the lineage of Su-Ata, the founder of Collective Journey Art.
The Muska practice is when someone gets distressed either emotionally or physically on a continual basis the elders of the community will make a ceremonial circle around the person in subject, laying in the middle of the circle on their back. The person will be placed a parchment paper on their chest to receive the healing prayers that will go around the same circle in turns. The prayers come either in the form of chanting or straight expressions at the presence and calling of the creator to heal. Every time an elder finishes their turn the parchment paper is fold in triangular way. The prayers can also be written on the same parchment. At the end of the ceremony the parchment gains a thick triangular form, which then gets wrapped by the eldest in a form of necklace for the receiver to wear it under their clothing with a straight contact to their skin. Su-Ata's both parents were the healers of their tribal community in the central-south Anatolia and he witnessed many healing taking place growing up, including his own younger sibling.
