In this model, we used black wood of the Amazon rainforests, which is recycled from left over pieces from larger household (furniture) projects. This model is also from our Collective based in Peru and it measures 16 inches end-to-end dimension. We moved the Chrysocolla to the joints below to leather shakers, used 3 jades ingraved on each side to represent heart-mind-soul. Chrysocolla is a gemstone that brings harmony, wisdom, Clarity and Peace. The sound is crisp, papery and pure to be a perfect instrument in anywhere it will feel appropriate. The feathers are from guacamayo species of domestic birds found in Central and South America.
